A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Dr. Coleman has built a reputation as one of the region's foremost experts in cardiovascular disease prevention, advanced diagnostics, and interventional techniques. Since initiating his practice in 1990, he has remained deeply committed to an integrated and holistic model of care — one that centers on proactive, evidence-based strategies to protect patients from life-threatening cardiac events before they occur.
Dr. Coleman's clinical practice places special emphasis on the prevention of coronary artery disease and stroke, utilizing state-of-the-art cardiovascular diagnostics, coronary artery and peripheral arterial interventional techniques, and advanced atherosclerosis risk factor assessment. He was among the inaugural class of physicians to receive board certification in Interventional Cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000 — a recognition that underscores both his early mastery and ongoing leadership in the field. His areas of expertise include coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, atherosclerosis, hypertension, pulmonary heart disease, and peripheral arterial disease, among others. Dr. Coleman is also proficient in Spanish, allowing him to serve a broader and more diverse patient community.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Coleman served for ten years as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he helped shape the next generation of physicians. His scholarly contributions include numerous clinical reports and basic research articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including the prestigious journal Circulation.

Whether guiding a patient through lifestyle changes or performing a complex interventional procedure, Dr. Coleman's goal remains the same: to provide each patient with the personalized, highest-quality care they deserve.
