Scott J. Greenberg, M.D. was raised in Denver, CO, and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado where he earned his B.S. in computer science engineering. He remained at the University of Colorado for his medical school training, then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cornell University - New York Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.
Following residency, he completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the world-renowned Texas Heart Institute – Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, with training at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Greenberg was elected Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2014 and Chief Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellow in 2015. He joined the Woodlands North Houston Heart Center and Baylor College of Medicine in 2016.
Dr. Greenberg has been recognized as a national leader in healthcare policy for cardiac electrophysiologists, having participated on the Heart Rhythm Society National Taskforce for CMS Reimbursement, the National Taskforce for Private Practice Cardiac Electrophysiologists, and the Heart Rhythm Society Health Policy and Regulatory Affairs Committee. He has been elected to the Board of Governors and as Treasurer for Heart Rhythm Advocates, the advocacy arm of the Heart Rhythm Society. Beginning in 2026, he is the Co-chair for Cardiac Electrophysiology for CommonSpirit Health nationally.
Dr. Greenberg is committed to delivering patient-centered care grounded in clinical excellence, prioritizing clear communication and shared decision-making so that every patient fully understands their diagnosis and treatment options. His practice spans the full spectrum of cardiac electrophysiology, with specialized expertise in catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular arrhythmias, left atrial appendage occlusion for stroke risk reduction, and implantation of the complete range of cardiac implantable electronic devices — including leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy systems. He is dedicated to offering patients access to the latest advances in electrophysiology, including pulsed field ablation, with the goal of achieving durable treatment outcomes and improving quality of life.
