Dr. Shareez Peerbhai is an interventional and structural cardiologist dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered cardiovascular care. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart disease using both advanced medical therapies and minimally invasive catheter-based procedures. Known for his thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Dr. Peerbhai prioritizes building meaningful relationships with his patients and ensuring they fully understand their condition and treatment options.
Dr. Peerbhai earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University before receiving his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and advanced training in interventional and structural cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). During his training he was selected for numerous leadership roles, serving as Chief Resident, Chief Cardiology Fellow, and Chief Interventional & Structural Cardiology Fellow, reflecting the respect of both his peers and faculty.
In recognition of his academic achievements, dedication to teaching, and commitment to patient care, Dr. Peerbhai was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious national medical honor society.
Dr. Peerbhai is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Echocardiography, and Interventional Cardiology. His clinical expertise includes coronary artery disease, complex coronary interventions, structural heart disease, heart failure, and cardiovascular imaging.
